鈴木じゅんいち監督の映画『442～Live with Honor, Die with Dignity』が7月31日サンペドロで上映されます。7月25日リトル東京で上映され絶賛を浴び、カリフォルニア州数箇所、ハワイ、東京などで限定上映される予定だそう。 Movie "442～Live with Honor, Die with Dignity" will be aired in San Pedro this Saturday, July 31, 2010. It was aired at Little Tokyo, Los Angeles on July 25, 2010, and received great reviews. It will be aired in some limited locations in California, Hawaii, and Tokyo.
“442: Live with Honor, Die with Dignity,” will be shown at the Warner Grand Theatre in San Pedro at 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 5 p.m on July 31, 2010. Tickets: $13 at box office, $10 in advance.

According to an email Director Junichi Suzuki sent to Setsuko san, a friend, Director Junichi Suzuki and his wife and actress Rumi Sakakibara will be there all day at the theater where the movie is aired except between August 15 and August 19, 2010. With high expectation of seeing the director Junichi Suzuki and actress Rumi Sakakibara, I purchased a ticket for July 31, 2010.

My wife and I will be at the theaters all day except between August 15th and 19th in San Francisco. I would appreciate if you could come tell your friends about this movie. すずきじゅんいち Junichi Suzuki ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 映画「４４２」報告 / Update 皆様、映画「４４２」では色々お世話になっております。ありがとうございます。 7/25日無事リトル東京で公開初日を済ませました。 １回目と３回目は約７００名、２回目はソールドアウトとなり大変盛況でした。 公開した日米文化会館の方からもわざわざメールを頂き、観客の皆さんが非常に満足度の高い感動の映画だと口々におっしゃって いた、とご報告を頂きました。 Thanks for your support for the movie "442". The first day was done successfully in Little Tokyo on July 25, 2010. There were 700 viewers each on the first and third show and second show was sold out. The Aratani Japan America Theater sent me an email saying all viewers mentioned the movie was great, satisfactory, and very moving.
マウイ映画祭での観客特別賞受賞に引き続き、本日、東京国際映画祭に正式招待が決定したとの連絡が日本からありました。ハワイでは一番人気のワード１６というホノルルの映画館での公開も９月１０日から始まる事になりました。 The movie received "Audience Special Award" from Maui film festival. Today, it received a formal invitation from Tokyo International Film Festival. In Honolulu, Hawaii, the movie will be aired at the most popular movie theatre, Ward 16" from September 10, 2010.
In Japan, it will be aired from November 20, 2010, right after Tokyo International Film Festival at K's Cinema in Shinjuku, Tokyo.
Also I have been receiving interviews from NHK, Japanese national TV station. It will be aired on the week of August 2, 2010 in "Ohayo Japan" between 6 am and 7 am, probably a later half. They will introduce the movie "442".
７月22日と23日には、ロスの地方局KTLA（５チャンネル）で４、５分に渡り、映画「442」の紹介がありました。 Local TV station KTLA (channel 5) introduced the movie "442" for 4 to 5 minutes on July 22 and 23.
